During our presentation, parents had the opportunity to meet Beall staff, learn about our kindergarten programs, and hear strategies for helping your 5-year old prepare for the transition into kindergarten. We invite all of our incoming kindergarten families to watch our Virtual Information Night that was held for parents in May. Additional information will be provided below by March 1. Families are expected to register in advance. Orientation sessions will be approximately 45 minutes long. Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for April 20 for students who will turn 5-years old by September 1, 2023. JumpStart Tutoring also provides individual tutoring (K-5)! Check out our page to find interesting articles and ideas for academic enrichment activities to try with your preschoolers. This program was developed to provide pre-kindergarteners with the confidence and the skills they need to succeed in school. Please stop by our table to learn more about our preschool JumpStart program (a pre-reading and math enrichment program designed for pre-kindergarteners). Joyce Rossnan, an experienced MCPS teacher, reading specialist, and special education teacher is excited to share information about a unique way to prepare your child for Kindergarten with her JumpStart Tutoring program.
